I went to the Apple store ready to by the Griffin Slap but the Apple genius showed me the Iwatchz band and I was sold. The Iwatchz band is just as comfortable as a regular watch band and looks like a regular band, but the nano in it gets a lot of attention. Not hard to get the Nano in and out of the band, but took me a few times to figure it out. Here is a tip for using the Nano clock, under settings, turn the "time on wake" to on. That way anytime you push the on button the first thing you see is the clock. I was really tempted to get the red Nano that can only be purchased at the Apple Store, because it looked so good in the black band. Get the Iwatchz, it will make your Nano that much of a better purchase.

Got my strap in grey today and tried it on - it was just way too large! I have about a 5.5-inch wrist (diameter) and, even on the last hole, the strap was way too loose on me. The "watch" swivels and swings wildly on my wrists as a result, which makes it rather impossible to run with. And, because the strap is made of rubber, you can't put more holes into it yourself. Will probably have to take it to a proper strapmaker to have more holes put in. Tiresome.

I have decided to review this product, since there are no other reviews worth reading, and since it is actually a fairly good buy. The choice can be difficult, because on average this product is more expensive than the other running docks for your ipod.

Firstly, let me say that I have only had mine for a day. I have the 6th Gen Nano. So, I cannot give any feedback at this stage regarding how this product will wear. I will try to remember to return in a month or two's time and post an update. Also, time from buy to receive was about a week, so I cant identify with the other comment about the lack of shipping.

- The product looks good, and is essentially exactly how it looks in the photo. The Nano fits pretty much perfectly. However, if you have a silicone cover on your nano it will NOT fit.
- It is easy to get the nano in and out, and because of the clip on the nano, when its in, it is secure, and therefore wont fall off the watch. This means its not the kind of "cover" where once its in, its in forever.
- The screen of the nano can be easily rotated to have the clock face, and the menu etc interface in the orientation you desire.
- The headphone jack of the nano points UP YOU ARM when the ipod is docked. I find this to be quite convenient as I use mine for running, and therefore want the cable pointing up my arm
- NB one: The docking platform between the two straps is PLASTIC (not metal). I believe this will have pro's and con's, given that plastic will wear better with the sweat, but may not last as long. Potential concern here. However, the plastic does appear sturdy, so will let you know how it goes.
- The size of the watch strap, and the holes make it possible to fit almost all size arms. I am a fairly big guy, and it fits me comfortably. However, if you have mammoth wrists, you may run into trouble.

Post comments, and I will try to answer them. All in all, a good product that is (imho) freaking cool.

UPDATE: March 10:

I have been using the product for about a month and a half. I used a small file to round the edges of the platic platform onto which the ipod attaches, as they were quite sharp and snagged on sweaters etc. My ipod fits snuggly into the platform, and doesn't move around. The plastic platform still looks good.

The silicone straps dont show any signs of wear yet, and I use my strap principally for running, so the straps receives a lot of sweat. Btw, if you use for running, get yourself a set of these babies: Sennheiser Adidas PMX 680 Sports Earbud Headphone with Volume control & Neckband. They are incredible, and dont move an inch when you run.

This little unit does exactly as described. Windows 7 immediately recognized it without a hitch. The device itself is quite robust in construction and can be dropped in the bottom of a bag without being too concerned that it will be broken. For my desktop I have a Vantec NexStar USB/eSATA hard drive dock which has its own power cable and brick. All the reviews I have read about portable USB3 enclosures and USB3 cables are fairly negative and complain about the heavy cables, weak connection, and need for external power and, the USB3 solutions total up to higher cost. This lets me have a full speed connection with my USB3 ported laptop for a very reasonable price.

I'm glad to see that this kind of adapter, since I have a few eSATA devices and not all of my machines support eSATA. This adapter connects eSATA external storage devices to computers with USB connectivity, and in that sense, it enables you to:
1) Use eSATA Devices on any USB-Equipped computer (eg. use an eSATA hard drive on MACs with USB 2.0)
2) Get close to eSATA speeds when used computers equipped with USB 3.0
3) Adds an extra eSATA port in exchange for a USB port, so you can use multiple eSATA devices at the same time

I tested this adapter with my two-bay USB 2.0/eSATA RAID enclosure, running 2x Western Digital 2 TB Caviar Green Hard Disk Drives in RAID 1, and it worked very well. In USB 2.0 mode, the average transfer rate was ~30 MB/s, and using eSATA, transfers top out at ~100 MB/s. Over USB 3.0 using the BYTECC adapter, the transfers top out at ~90 MB/s. It's worth mentioning that USB 3.0 has a bit more overhead than SATA so speeds over USB 3.0 will be a little slower than native eSATA, but it's already many times faster than USB 2.0 (USB 3.0 has something called USB Attached SCSI Protocol, and this should close the gap between USB 3.0 and eSATA in terms of performance, but it's not widely supported at the moment.)

The BYTECC USB 3.0 to eSATA Adapter is a simple and straight-forward device, and it is very easy to use. No additional drivers are necessary for normal operation, and since it draws all of its power from the USB bus, no external power is required. Overall, I'm happy with it, and I've added it to my toolkit.

Notes:
1) In order to get USB 3.0 speed, you need a USB 3.0 Host
2) USB 3.0 is also referred to as SuperSpeed
3) I tested this adapter on various PC's and a friend's Macbook Pro and it works fine in USB 2.0 mode
4) According to the VID/PID, this device uses an ASMedia controller
5) UAS and LPM don't appear to be supported, but it's not really necessary for something like this.

I was bummed when I could not fit my R3 inside the sleeve. So just because I can't fit my laptop inside I'm not going to give this great product a bad review, which makes no sense to me. So outside of that this is an awesome laptop sleeve and I will use it for my 15" laptop instead. The bag has a nice size compartment for paper work or other flat items you may carry. The inside of the bag for the laptop storage is plush and feels really smooth. The memory foam compresses once you squeeze it and once the pressure is off it returns to its original form. If you utilize the handles inside the sleeve to carry your laptop around using the sleeve as your bag you will not be able to close it completely due to the handles being stitched inside the bag, but inside the bag on the rear side there is a scrap with velcro on it that you pull out and place it on the velcro between the pocket to give it look of being completely sealed off. The handles can be tuck inside the bag and completely zipped close then placed inside a backpack or in a suit case. The outside of the bag is nice too and it seems like it would be able to take a spill or a little rain if you are briefly caught in a rain shower. So now I need to go back to Everki website to see if they a have a 18 or 19 inch laptop sleeve. I hope my review was helpful, but my main purpose was to warn R3 user and others who may have a slightly larger 17 inch laptop.

The home adapter kit is fantastic! First, it's very easy to install. Second, it doesn't take up much space. Third, it increases the funtionality of the SKYFi2. Finally, it's relatively inexpensive.

I received the SKYFi2 with car adapter kit as a Christmas gift. After having it professionally installed in my car, I became an instant fan of XM Radio. I soon started listening to XM on my home computer via XMRadio Online and then decided to go with the home apapter. XM Radio sounds incredible on my stereo system and there is little to no interference. Just remember...don't let the AC cord and the audio cables touch or you will definitely get interference.

The device does exactly what it says it does. It's very convenient because it allows me to take the receiver out of my car and plug it into my system in my house. Setup was very easy. You have to make sure to get a good location for the antenna, though, otherwise the stations may cut in and out due to interference. Also, the connection for the RCA cables is rather loose on the dock, so you have to make sure that the cable is actually plugged in or you will not get any sound. Otherwise a good product and recommended.

We'll start with the good. My 8 remotes are tucked away on a bottom shelf of a coffee table, which is a relief. The Sony RM-AV2000 makes my life considerably easier. The back-lit touch-screen feature is cool in its own right. The ability to control 12 items is even cooler. It's very easy to program and equally easy to "teach" commands.

However, for it all it has going for it, it lacks a lot as well. My personal biggest gripe is a designated key for a LaserDisc player. Most hardcore home theater people who own 12 items (as the unit implies) owns a laserdisc player. Also, for any disc-type machine (cd, dvd, ld, even MD) the preset commands only give you "scan" keys and not "skip" keys. In order to skip, you need to reprogram the keys or use the number keys, which, since they're part of just about every command, should be OFF of the touch-screen and down on the bottom. Even the presets for Sony items lack features or have excessive butons.

All in all, my "tri-corder," as I jokingly refer to it as, IS exceptionally handy. But don't go packing away all of your original remotes just yet.

for the price, the product is a nice addition for anyone with more than 4 remotes. the manual is however poorly written and the configuration is rather awkward. but after that, it pretty much works. the product emphaisizes that you have "sony" branded products, there are several functionality which works with Sony products ONLY. the programmability is also limited.

how can sony improve this product:

1) make it thinner, the picture above is very deceptive, the thing is about the thickness of 2 regular remote controls stacked on top of each other. currently the product uses 6 x AA batteries.

2) add more macro function buttons.

3) let user enter custom button labels

The AV-2000 is by far the best UR I have owned or seen. As a quadriplegic, I live by remote controlled entertainment appliances. The AV-2000 combines the best of pre-programmed and programmable features; one can even have both pre-programmed and learned functions for each device. Especially nice is the broad spectrum of the IR signal. The AV-2000 will initiate a function even if the control is pointed away from the device to be controlled.

I find that the pen is a little chunky which makes it a little harder to handle. It's slim, thinner than a 1 subject notebook and could easily fit in a carry bag, conveniently small. It looks and works like all the other tablets I've seen and tried out.
Still, I urge the professionals or those looking for better quality to look at Wacom or other brand names, however this tablet would be perfect for fun, trial (for those not wanting to spend $$ for something they're not sure how to use).

I bought this to do some quick art and get in some practice before I really invest in a brand name that costs more. Fits the job description, does the tasks a tablet should do.

It's not a bad table for the price; however, it's definitely not an ideal one for anything extensive.

The tablet and pen are both very finicky, leaving it hard to do anything really extensive or detailed. When working on a single sketch, I'd often have to stop and start it up again because the tablet would decide to start acting up or not respond. Writing with it was a pain as well, even with handwriting recognition software.

All in all, it wasn't too bad up until I lost the pen, which now renders it as a paperweight because getting a new pen for such a tablet seems illogical entirely. If you want a cheap tablet to do basic stuff with, this'll tide you over until you can get something good. If you're meaning to do anything real, wait until you can afford a better one.
