I've been cloth diapering my son for 2 years now. We've always used Allen's Naturally liquid laundry detergent and have been satisfied with it. Lately though, I've noticed that the clean diapers still smell a little off and any cover that my son was wearing when he had a bowel movement would need to be aired out to get rid of the smell. The pocket diaper's microfiber inserts smelled off too.

So when I saw this new prewash / super wash combo, I figured I'd give it a try. It is phenomenal! My son's diapers smell completely clean coming out of the washer. The covers smell clean too even the ones that had bowel movements. I am a convert! I still use the Allen's Naturally for my son's clothes, but I will be using Thirsties prewash & super wash for the diapers from now on.

My son discovered this product at Amazon and tried it to clear up his daughter's diaper rash and the odor in the diapers because he didn't want to use bleach. He also gave a bottle to his sister for her baby who had terrible diaper rash that she couldn't control.
The babies no longer have diaper rash and their diapers are odor free! This Thirsties soap is wonderful and contains probiotics not harsh chemicals.

I bought this sort of out of desperation, as the one-size diapers we had from our son were still pretty stinky after stripping and washing multiple times, and our daughter was getting to the size where she should be wearing them instead of the newborn size ones. It took about 3 washes to get the stink out initially, but now it's gone and it's stayed gone! This detergent is absolutely necessary, in my opinion, and I'm sure we'll buy more once we use our current bottle up. I love that it rinses totally clean, is so easy to measure, and really doesn't take much to work.
