I am very happy with the weight and the non-stick ability of this pan. But the bottom of the pan is only about 4 1/2 - 5" diameter. OK for 1 or 2 eggs. The top rim is 8". I would have given this 5 stars if it was an actual 8" pan. This to me is a little deceptive. You cook on the bottom of the pan, not at the rim!

I like the iron skillet that I received. I bought the small one at first to see if it would be ok to use on my ceramic stove. Haven't had any problems. I am thinking about getting the other two sizes.

I have owned this pan now for a little over two months, and it just keeps on improving with time. I did season it before the first use, and I continue to keep it well oiled. I plan on getting the larger pan. High quality for a low price.
